Frequently Asked Questions
How does it work?
In contrast to a traditional drum lesson, a consultation with me can help you with bigger-picture scenarios that will help you become an in-demand sideman.
What are your qualifications?
I started drumming in 1993 at age nine. My father is also a drummer, and by the time I was fifteen, I was subbing for him at rehearsals and gigs. I moved to Denver in 2004 and have since established a reputation among artists, bands, producers, and entertainment agencies as a reliable and consistent drummer able to adapt to many different styles and situations.
How much does it cost?
My rates are $75 per hour for in-studio and online consultations and $90 per hour for an in-home session. In-home appointments are only available in the Denver Metro and Colorado Front Range region.
What do I need?
If we meet at your home, we’ll work with the gear that you use for your performances. If you come to me, all you’ll need to bring is your sticks.
What topics will we cover?
We can cover whatever topics you feel need to be most urgently addressed. As we work together, I’ll make suggestions about other areas that could use work, which include anything from your time feel and dynamics to networking and negotiating pay.
